It may happened to you, just as to some of our clients, that you bought the Jednotka WordPress theme from Themeforest.com, it was one of the good themes there, but the developers decided to stop supporting the theme in past few years. The main issue that may appear to your current page that run on Jednotka is bugged tool bar in your WordPress administration. Simply its not visible and you cant click on “visual” editor. This is due to plugin called “jednotka-shortcodes” made by the Jednotka theme developers, this plugin supports unique shortcodes that jednotka uses. You can’t disable this plugin, because the page will stop showing it’s elements. But you also can not write/edit posts and pages.
So here is how to quick fix your page, so you can at least do something:
- Go to your FTP, open the page www folder.
- Open wp-content/plugins/
- Find there folder called “jednotka-shortcodes” and open it.
- Delete there the folders “editor-addon” and “shortcodes-generator“.
- Then, the only file that is left is: jednotka-shortcodes.php.
- Open this file, delete the line: require_once(‘editor-addon/Shortcodes.php’); and save the file.
As said this is a temporary fix, this deletes all the JS files that the plugin uses e.g. to run “theme shortcode” part, so you will not be able to add shortcodes “the nice way” only by writting them (you can find in Jednotka docomentation what shortcodes are avaliable).
